The Office of the Registrar of Insurance and Retirement funds (RIRF) was established by the Insurance Act No. 7 of 2005 and the Retirement Fund’s Act No. 5 of 2005. RIRF is an integrated regulator with the mandate to license, regulate and supervise the activities of the Insurance and Retirement Funds Industries.
RIRF is committed to the creation of a sound, fair, stable and competitive environment for the non-bank financial sector, hence protecting the integrity and stability of the Insurance and Retirement Funds sector as well as the interests of consumers.
